Right after Roan - we had to climb both Little Hump and Big Hump. Absolutely amazing - both are balds - and after getting to the tops of them - complete 360 degree views. Luckily had good weather for this. This picture shows what you see when climbing something steep - nothing but sky! Body and mind are changing. Previously - when a SOBO section hiker would ask if I was going to Maine, I would say "hope to" or "that is the plan". I now feel very confident. Physically getting in shape and mentally feeling that I can do this. When someone asks me if I'm going all the way - I look them in the eye and say "yes". I truely feel that I am an AT Thru Hiker.
