Here I am posing for an upcoming issue of Mountain Man Monthly. Actually - after coming down off of Unaka Mtn, I came accross 8 or 9 trail maintainers working on rerouting a new section of the AT. After talking to them for a bit - they let me try my hand. I was able to build 3-4' of trail - not much - but very cool to know that I created something that hikers will later use - and am giving back to the trail. Met Bob Peoples today as well - I'm going to stay at his hostel, and try to sign up for "Hardcore" after Trail Days. He runs the teams of hikers that work on the trail. Can't wait to hopefully build more AT!
