Nothing freaks you out more - than walking down the trail - thinking you are walking past a stick - and right as your foot gets about 8 inches from that stick - it starts to rattle! They really do blend in with the ground. I jumped back - and then walked around him slowly - not going to lie - the bigger ones are far more scary than the smaller ones. While it would make a good story - really don't want fang marks in my calf or shin.
