Standing Indian

Climbed Standing Indian mountain at 5,498 feet - with the sunshine a great view. North Carolina welcomed us with two huge climbs coming into the state - no switchbacks - just straight up and back down the mountains. Atleast they had sunshine. I would love to actually see Georgia some time.

Hey there!

I read through your blogs about the trip through the mountains. I've wanted to track that part of the country, but I haven't had the time or finances (at the moment) I've only driven through the Appalachian Mts. But I've backpacked In Estes Park, CO and through the mountains near Laughlin NV. Anyway, I hope the trip continues to go well, and Good Luck, bud!
