Here is my first picture in West Virginia. Is it just me - or does it look EXACTLY like Virginia????? I walked 540 miles across Virginia to see the same thing? Also - what's the vote on this patchy beard thing I've got going??? let it keep growing - hoping it will fill in, or shave teh sides off and keep the goatee? post your votes please.

Yikes, that beard has got to go. I don't think it's really filling in much for you. Kind of Grizzly Adam'ish but not in a good way.

I actually like the beard, but mostly because it makes you look like a through hiker. It also makes you look like you stink, which I suppose is not important to your question. Seriously, I'm an advocate of the goatee and sideburns. If it takes you more than 30 seconds to shave you're working to hard.
I agree with Dustin, you need to keep the beard the whole way through. You can get away with the kilt better if you have a scruffy beard. I still think you needed the skullet too though. Keep kicking ass, you are doing great.
Beard has to go. You'd be a lock for a part in a Deliverance makeover with that thing you have now. If I saw you and a bear in the woods, I'd run towards the bear....
